The Sales Manager serves as the liaison between my client and the local Credit Bureau. The focus of this individual is to act as the subject matter expert on products; to engage in aggressive business development resulting in increased and sustained revenue; to educate the credit bureaus, businesses, and financial institutions in support of the use and promotion of credit risk products. The Analytics Sales Manager has both broad and in-depth knowledge of the credit risk industry, products and services and application of the products for customer acquisition, account and debt management, and solutions development through analytics, technology, and regulatory compliance. As a recognized expert, this individual provides increased acceptance of credit and business solutions.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • 1. Act as a liaison between the local Bureau, end user credit grantors, and my client. Represents the qualified expertise and immediate credibility to customers and prospects as the functional expert, quotable resource and as the acknowledged industry consultant. Provides support for business development activities.
  • 2. Understands sales, product, and business processes of the client and leverages knowledge to develop appropriate product and business solutions for India.
  • 3. Educate credit grantors on products and solution sets.
  • 4. Routinely identifies opportunities to shares knowledge of credit products and solutions through activities that support business development and promotes credit acceptance using various channels. These activities include speaking at industry trade events; identifying opportunities for provide written & quotable communications for relevant industry trade publications; and sponsoring industry or governmental committees to position my client as a knowledgeable and credible business partner.
  • 5. Has P & L responsibility for that country's JV, and is accountable for driving revenue, process improvements and product enhancements year over year.
  • 6. Creates and executes the appropriate product road map for  India.
  • 7. Creates a productive relationship with the local credit bureau GM acting as a trusted advisor, product subject matter expert, and liaison back to head office.
  • 8. Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

 

Qualifications

  • - A University degree is preferred, with concentrations in business, finance, or related discipline preferred. Requires 3-5 years of experience in credit or financial services industry.
  • - Prior experience in sale, product, or marketing role preferred.
  • - Competence insustain a persuasive negotiation with a competent risk managers
  • - Requires an effective combination of credit industry expertise with advanced knowledge of products, business development, and credit risk controls .
  • - Must have the ability to influence, act as a change agent, and the ability to transfer knowledge effectively. Past accomplishments must include development and implementation of business solutions successfully driving business to reach peak performance targets.
  • - Must have proven ability to interact with all levels within an organization, from most junior to most senior, from all aspects of business including technical and operational.
  • - Must be a self-starter with entrepreneurial approach to interactions.
  • - Must be conversant in English.
  • - Requires high of energy level and ability to display creativity in developing solutions and codifying offerings. Requires travel both nationally and internationally.
